Crosby ended his six game goal slump with a first period goal against Halak to tie the game but the Penguins still ended up losing Game 6 of the Eastern Conference semifinal to the Montreal Canadiens. The result forces the Penguins and the Canadiens to play a game 7 winner takes all match to qualiify for the Eastern Confernce Final.
Sid the Kid finished the NHL season in style notching his first 50 goal season and securing the Rocket Richard Trophy for the first time (tied with Stamkos from the Tampa Bay Lightning) after banging in two nice goals during the Penguins last game of the season. Read more »
