Four day Team Canada Olympic camp concludes

As the four day Team Canada Olympic camp came to a close it was reasonable to assume that a number of things will need to happen during the early stages of the hockey season to help complete Steve Yzerman’s vision for Team Canada before he goes ahead and makes the final selections for the Olympic Team in December. There is a lot of pressure for Team Canada this year, performing on home ice and especially after coming home without medals at the last Olympic tournament. The camp in Calgary did offer a few hints or possibilities of how some players currently stand on the Olympic Team.  As camp was wrapping up, Yzerman did acknowledge that there was a logic to the line pairings that they tested.

I think its safe to say that Crosby will not be snubbed this year and we will look forward to seeing him lead the team to Gold just like he led the Penguins to the Stanley Cup last year.
