Gonchar scored at 2:19 into the third period and the Pittsburgh Penguins easily eliminated the Flyers with a 5-3 win in Game 6 against Philadelphia.Penguins Flyers Hockey

“It felt good,” said Pens captain Sidney Crosby, who scored the tying goal in the second period and had an empty-netter in the final minute. “We’ve had huge rivalries over the years. It’s a loud building. They were playing well and the crowd was into it, so to hear a little silence was gratifying.”

Crosby looks forward toward an interesting series battle against Ovechkinand the Washington Capitals. in round 2.
