Team Canada beat the Team USA 3-2 in the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Gold Medal game to earn its second men’s hockey gold medal in the last three Olympics, Crosby scored the winning goal 7:40 into overtime.
Crosby’s OT goal brings home the Gold
Team Canada beat the Americans yesterday to in overtime to win the 2010 Gold Medal for Mens Hockey. And probably even more ironic is the fact that Sid the Kid was there to seal to deal. And there is no doubt that this goal (although nothing too fancy about it) will be remembered to many Canadians as time goes on, much like the famous goal that Paul Henderson scored during the 72 Summit series.
